Sell Online for Free*

Imagine being able to sell online for free* in Australia (click here for disclaimer) and not having to pay any selling and listing fees. Unlike other online shopping platforms Powerseller® does not charge any establishment or membership fees, store subscription fees or selling commissions. Powerseller® derives income from charging buyers a 2.99% premium on funds held in Escrow. All merchants must be bank screened and approved by Westpac Banking Corporation. Approved merchants are not required to operate a Westpac account and may use their own bank or financial institution.

No Payment Gateway Fees*

Powerseller® is an approved Westpac Master Merchant Aggregator that is able to facilitate sub-merchant online banking solutions directly for merchants, so they can indirectly accept Visa and MasterCard online payments, free of charge. Powerseller® can be an additional online channel for larger merchants whom already have an existing E-Commerce solution, saving merchants thousands of dollars in bank merchant fees or payment gateway fees.

Hassle Free Shipping Solution

Shipping through the Powerseller® network means your customers experience faster cheaper shipping due to our freight buying power. And it’s easy - we bill the customer the total amount and once the goods are shipped and received by your customer and the returns period lapses you get your sales price*. Faster cheaper shipping means more business and increased confidence. Our shipping and logistics partner Temando deal with all the major carriers including Australia Post, Australian Air Express, DHL and Fastway Couriers. Please note that all shipping services are provided only within Australia at this time.

Powerseller® provides a robust E-Commerce platform solution featuring advanced shopping cart software that enables multiple sellers/vendors to offer their products in one online store. Every merchant can manage their separate inventory, product images, transaction history, set up their own tax rates, discounts and coupons while Powerseller® manages general store operation, configuration and perform maintenance.

Order management, shipping and returns are handled by Powerseller®. All you have to do when you receive an order is “click a button”, package the order and wait for our shipping partners to collect it (you don’t even have to phone them). Consumer Information

Escrow Buyer Protection - 100% Money Back Guarantee*

Powerseller® provides a bank supported Escrow Service that provides consumers with a 100% money back guarantee. Rather than part with your money first and hope that you get what you ordered, Powerseller® removes this risk for the consumer and charges a 2.99% premium on funds held in Escrow. All funds are held in Escrow with Westpac Banking Corporation for a period of 14 days (meeting all Australian state and territory legislation), providing consumers adequate time to lodge a returns claim if required.

Powerseller® merchants may offer a Best Price Guarantee on selected products.

Bank Screened Merchants

Unfortunately online fraud is a growing concern and it is not wise to trust ambiguous feedback ratings and testimonials that have not been vetted by an independent and trusted third party. Powerseller® is serious when it comes to minimising online fraud and this is why all merchants must be bank screened and approved by Westpac Banking Corporation. Please note that all Powerseller® merchants are physically located within Australia only.

Credit Card Security - Level One PCI-DSS Compliance

Powerseller® is Level Once PCI-DSS compliant, the highest level of compliance in relation to the payment card industry. PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) provides an actionable framework for developing a robust payment card data security process.

Website Security - Extended Validation 256 Bit SSL Certificate

To increase website security Powerseller® has an Extended Validation 256 Bit SSL Certificate. An SSL Certificate is a piece of software that encrypts all information moving to and from the Certificate holder’s website. This means no exchange between the website and its visitors can be intentionally or accidentally “overheard” by a third party, regardless of whether the visitor is placing an order.

*Terms and conditions apply. Subject to the contingent fees set out on the Powerseller® website, approved Powerseller® merchants may offer and sell products for free via the Powerseller® website. Approved merchants may however from time to time be required to pay the following contingent fees: (i) fees for any optional subscription and prepaid products and services (including, without limitation, any affiliate, mobile communication, video, advertising or marketing products and services); (ii) fees for any products or services purchased by merchants for use on or in connection with the Powerseller® website; (iii) a fee of $1,100.00 (incl GST) if the merchant agreement is terminated within the first 12 months; (iv) any additional shipping costs incurred due to merchant error; (v) any regular buyer fees or charges that the merchant elects in their discretion to absorb (including escrow fees or shipping charges); (vi) any chargeback fees from banks or financial institutions incurred by merchants or by Powerseller (and passed on to merchants) (vii) a minimum monthly transaction value fee of $33.00 (incl GST) (not charged where the total merchant turnover via the website exceeds this minimum amount). Excludes any business or operational costs or expenses incurred by merchants from transacting on the Powerseller® website (including any fees from banks or financial institutions).
